Landsharks Running Club's Scholarship Program

The Landsharks Running Club is pleased to offer the following scholarships:

• Phil Ambard Memorial Scholarships - 10 scholarships awarded to runners with an immediate family member serving overseas in the Armed Forces.
• Mile High 100 Scholarships - 10 Scholarships awarded to runners of families with a single parent.
• Landsharks Scholarship Fund - 20 scholarships awarded to runners with families in need and with a strong desire to be a part of the program.

In order to be considered for any scholarship, you must submit your application by April 6th, 2012. Late applications will not be considered.

You will receive an email when your application has arrived and your runner is then able to participate in practices.

We will notify all scholarship recipients on April 8th, 2012. If you are awarded a scholarship, we will register your runner and send you a shirt. If you are not selected, your runner is welcome to continue practicing, but will need to register in order to compete at the races.

The selection committee ranks the applications by the following criteria:

• Which scholarship are you eligible for.
• Financial need of the family.
• Is a parent willing to volunteer as a coach or be a helper at the races?
• Does the runner have a strong desire and commitment to the program?
