Landsharks 4th & 5th Grade Team Handball League to Start!
Landsharks Team Handball is a program designed to introduce young athletes to the exciting sport of handball. Handball is a team sport that uses natural athletic skills such as running, jumping and throwing. Our focus is on having fun while learning a new sport, developing required skills and making new friends. The game ball is cantaloupe-sized and you score by throwing it into your opponent's goal.
The Team Handball season is a five week program lead by a PE teacher and/or parent. The program is currently open to 4th and 5th grade boys and girls. Practices are twice per week for one hour. Each school will have a boy's and girl's team. There will be three Monday night games and a season ending tournament on March 12th. Registration fee is $50. Team Jersey (reversible) is $20 (if needed)
Program fees include:
- Insurance for practices and games
- Three officiated games
- Season concluding tournament (minimum of 3 games)
